Poké Ball
The standard ball for catching wild Pokémon. It is the basic supply you will use most often, and the ball consumed by automatic catching features.

Great Ball
A stronger everyday catching ball with a 1.5× ball modifier in the catch formula. It is a useful middle ground between a Poké Ball and an Ultra Ball.

Ultra Ball
The strongest routinely obtainable ball for wild catches. Its 2× ball modifier improves the chance of keeping a Pokémon after a successful hit.

Premier Ball
An encounter-specific ball awarded after winning raids and Team GO Rocket battles. You receive a limited allocation rather than spending your normal ball supply.

Master Ball
A very rare ball that guarantees a capture in eligible encounters. Choosing it triggers a confirmation and a special catching sequence.

Beast Ball
A special event ball particularly effective against Ultra Beasts. Participating events supply it for designated encounters, sometimes including Necrozma.

GO Safari Ball
An event ball with high catching effectiveness, introduced for Pokémon GO Wild Area and its difficult mighty Pokémon encounters.

Pinap Berry
A berry that doubles ordinary catch Candy when the Pokémon is caught while its effect is active. It does not directly improve catch probability.

Golden Razz Berry
A powerful catch berry with a 2.5× berry modifier. It also has a separate Gym use: a single berry fully restores a friendly defender’s motivation.

Silver Pinap Berry
A rare berry that combines a 1.8× catch modifier with extra ordinary catch Candy. A basic catch normally worth three Candy awards seven before other bonuses.
