Overview

The Daily Adventure Egg is a free special 1 km Egg granted once per day to Trainers at level 15 and above that hatches into a Pokémon and awards a base 10,000 XP. Introduced on October 15, 2025, alongside the current leveling system (levels 1–80), it is automatically placed into its own dedicated incubator upon your first login of the day and does not occupy any of the 9 standard or 3 bonus Egg storage slots.

Its hatch pool is separate from regular 2, 5, 7, 10, and 12 km Eggs and has featured first-partner Pokémon from Bulbasaur through Quaxly. Always check the current pool in-game rather than assuming every starter Pokémon is available at all times.

How to get it

  • Reach Trainer level 15 and log in on a new day (after 12:00 a.m. local time) to receive a free Daily Adventure Egg.

  • Your Daily Adventure Egg is automatically placed into its own dedicated incubator upon login; only one can be held and incubated at a time.

How to use it

  1. Walk 1 km (including distance tracked via Adventure Sync while the app is closed) and check your progress in the Eggs tab, as its dedicated incubator is already active.

  2. Hatch your current Daily Adventure Egg before midnight rather than expecting unhatched daily copies to stack.

Worth knowing

It does not occupy any of your 9 standard or 3 bonus Egg slots, nor does it consume an Incubator or Super Incubator from your Item Bag.

In-game and live event hatch bonuses—such as reduced hatch distance or event hatch XP multipliers—do not apply to the Daily Adventure Egg, though it still counts toward research tasks that require hatching an Egg.

Daily grant and bonus restrictions

Only one Daily Adventure Egg can be held and incubated at a time. When you log in after 12:00 a.m. local time without an active Daily Adventure Egg, a new one is automatically placed into its dedicated incubator. Carrying yesterday’s unhatched Daily Adventure Egg past midnight blocks the new day’s grant, and hatching that older Egg later in the day does not trigger an immediate replacement; you must wait until 12:00 a.m. local time the following day for your next eligible grant.

Daily Adventure Eggs are ineligible for in-game or live event hatch bonuses, including event hatch-distance reductions and event hatch XP multipliers. They always require 1 km of walking and award a base 10,000 XP upon hatching. While you can use a Lucky Egg to double the XP reward, the Daily Adventure Egg is locked to its own incubator and cannot be transferred into a Super Incubator or standard Incubator.

Planning a daily hatch

The 10,000 XP base reward doubles to 20,000 XP when a Lucky Egg is active (10,000 base XP × 2 Lucky Egg multiplier = 20,000 XP). Activate your Lucky Egg before completing the full 1 km walking distance rather than waiting for the hatch animation to appear on screen, because the game processes the XP reward as soon as the distance requirement is met.

Tap the Egg to see its possible hatchlings. Daily Adventure Eggs have their own pool, so do not use an ordinary 2 km or event Egg list to predict the result. A new season’s ordinary Egg changes do not imply the daily pool changed too.

Because its dedicated slot sits completely outside the 9 standard and 3 bonus Egg slots (the 12-Egg storage limit), you can keep regular Eggs incubating in your standard Incubators or Super Incubators on the same walk without spending an extra incubator use on your daily hatch.

Once you have logged in for the day to claim the Daily Adventure Egg, Adventure Sync will count your walking distance while the app is closed. Progress is viewed directly in the Pokémon storage Eggs tab (the overworld Map View icon was removed in a July 2026 interface update), and hatching the Daily Adventure Egg also counts toward Field Research and Timed Research tasks that ask you to hatch an Egg.
