How to get it
- Claim a reward that explicitly includes a Timed Incubator, such as selected GO Pass Deluxe tracks.
How to use it
- Open Pokémon storage, select the Eggs tab, choose an Egg, and start incubation with this incubator.
- Walk the displayed distance. An incubator holds one Egg at a time; you cannot remove the Egg partway through.
Worth knowing
An Egg already inside at expiry continues in a single-use replacement incubator. It is not lost, but you cannot start another Egg with the expired item.
Hatch pools are determined by the Egg you received. Buying a faster incubator does not itself improve Shiny odds or IVs.
Expiration does not cancel an Egg already inside
An Egg already being incubated when the timer expires moves into a single-use incubator and continues toward its hatch. The expired item can no longer be used to start another Egg.
This makes it useful to distinguish starting a hatch before the deadline from finishing every last kilometer before the deadline. Read the current item description for its expiry time, and avoid leaving it idle when you have an Egg you intend to hatch.
