Mega Dragonite Pokémon GOMega Dragonite

This is the highest-ranked eligible option at #5 after excluding Shadow, Legendary and Mythical Pokémon and recommended movesets with legacy moves. Check its guide for level and Candy XL requirements; passing these filters does not guarantee a cheap build.

How this tier list is calculated

Rankings and recommended movesets come from PvPoke data. We calculate every tier relative to the highest score in the Master League: Mega Edition rankings: Pokémon closest to the top score earn the highest tiers, so the list remains meaningful as the meta changes.

PvPoke scores compare overall performance within a format, on a scale up to 100. They are not win percentages. Our tier labels use the same score thresholds on league lists and Pokémon guides.

What are Mega Edition rankings?

These rankings include Mega Evolutions and are separate from standard leagues; they do not imply eligibility in the current GO Battle League rotation.

Does a higher rank guarantee a better team?

The scores and recommended moves come from our imported PvPoke rankings for Master League: Mega Edition, rather than a popularity vote. We use those scores to assign tiers relative to the league’s top score. You can compare the source and inspect each Pokémon’s moves, but shields, energy, team composition and play decisions can change the outcome of an individual battle.

Do the filters change ranks or the top five?

Filters narrow the table while preserving original ranks, scores and tiers. The top-five cards always show the first five entries from the unfiltered imported ranking. “No legacy moves” filters the recommended moveset; it does not calculate an alternative moveset or guarantee Elite TM availability.

A legacy move may require an event, an Elite TM or another special method. Not every legacy move is available through an Elite TM. Check the move and Pokémon before spending one.

What do key wins and counters tell me?

Overall rankings combine several battle roles. PvPoke’s key wins and counters for these rankings come from its Leads scenario, with two shields on each side. They are examples, not guaranteed outcomes: IVs, energy, shields, move timing and baiting can change a battle.

How fresh are these rankings?

These pages use an imported PvPoke snapshot, not live rankings. The import date is recorded only when ranking data is refreshed; it is not the page build date. Older snapshots may have no recorded import date. Standard overall rankings do not describe every limited cup or current GO Battle League rotation.
