Overview

The Daily Adventure Incubator is a dedicated device that automatically incubates your 1 km Daily Adventure Egg. Introduced on October 15, 2025, alongside the current leveling system that raised the Trainer level cap from 50 to 80, it becomes available at Trainer level 15. It operates completely independently of ordinary incubators in your Item Bag, consumes no charges, and cannot be assigned standard 2 km, 5 km, 7 km, 10 km, or 12 km Eggs.

Because the Daily Adventure Egg is placed inside automatically as soon as it is granted, your only task is to walk the required kilometer before the next daily reset.

How to get it

  • Unlock the Daily Adventure Egg and its dedicated incubator at Trainer level 15.

  • Your Daily Adventure Egg is placed into this incubator automatically upon your first eligible login each day; it is not an item you buy in the shop or store in your Item Bag.

How to use it

  1. Log in after 12:00 a.m. local time when you do not already have a Daily Adventure Egg incubating to receive a new one automatically.

  2. Walk 1 km with the game open or via Adventure Sync to hatch the Egg and earn 10,000 XP. There is no need to select this incubator manually.

Worth knowing

You can incubate the Daily Adventure Egg at the same time your permanent and limited-use incubators hatch regular Eggs, and it does not take up any of your standard 9 to 12 Egg storage slots.

Event hatch bonuses—such as 1/2 or 1/4 Hatch Distance and event hatch XP multipliers—do not apply to the Daily Adventure Egg.

Automatic use and storage

Upon your first eligible login after 12:00 a.m. local time, the game grants a Daily Adventure Egg directly into this dedicated incubator—even if you have no incubators in your Item Bag. It has unlimited uses, cannot be purchased from the shop, and does not appear as a selectable item in your Item Bag.

Furthermore, the Daily Adventure Egg inside it does not count toward your standard 9 to 12 Egg storage capacity, though you can track its progress alongside your other Eggs in the Egg storage tab. Walking 1 km—either with the app open or tracked in the background via Adventure Sync—hatches the Pokémon and awards 10,000 XP.

However, the Daily Adventure Egg is ineligible for event-related hatch bonuses, meaning reduced Hatch Distance bonuses (such as 1/2 or 1/4 Hatch Distance) and event XP bonuses do not apply.

The daily reset and an unfinished Egg

You can only hold and incubate one Daily Adventure Egg at a time. If you carry yesterday’s unhatched Daily Adventure Egg past midnight into a new day, you miss that day's grant entirely; hatching the leftover Egg later that morning will not trigger a replacement for that day.

Instead, you must wait until your first login after 12:00 a.m. local time on the following day to receive a new one. Finishing your 1 km walk before midnight keeps the Daily Adventure Incubator empty and ready for the next day's automatic grant.

An active Daily Adventure Incubator does not mean your ordinary Incubator is occupied. Check both: the daily Egg starts automatically, while a newly hatched ordinary Egg leaves its incubator empty until you choose a replacement.
