Shadow Noivern PvE Analysis

Recommended moves

⚔️ Raids

Shadow Noivern is a Flying, Dragon-type Pokémon bat in shadow form, and is the evolved form of Noibat. Shadow Noivern has a mixed stat spread which prevents it from being exceptional as a raid attacker. It can still be used as a Flying-type raid attacker, where it can be okay if you’re lacking other options.

As a Flying-type raid attacker, Shadow Noivern is strong against Fighting, Bug, and Grass-type Pokémon. Noivern also resists moves from Grass, Ground, Bug, Fighting, Fire, and Water-type Pokémon.

Shadow Noivern PvP Analysis

Recommended moves

Noivern has certain flaws that make it unviable for PvP. For starters, Noivern’s Flying and Dragon dual-typing leaves it double weak to Ice-type attacks. But this alone isn’t really a problem. Because this type combination provides a lot of defenses as well and we’ve seen Pokémon such as Altaria succeed with it before.

The main problem comes from the fact that Noivern also has very mixed stats and an unimpressive move pool. Meaning it doesn’t do anything particularly well at all.
