Roar of Time *
Dialga Origin loses some ATK points compared to regular Dialga but gains appreciable bulk. What truly sets the Origin Forme apart is its signature move, Roar of Time 🕰️.
Roar of Time (160 DMG) has slightly more power than Draco Meteor (150 DMG). However, its standout feature is its 2-second cooldown, nearly half of Draco Meteor’s 3.5-second cooldown 👀.
Despite its lower ATK, Origin Forme deals damage more consistently and can even stay on the battlefield longer 💯.
As a Steel-type attacker, it performs well but is still outclassed by regular Dialga 😅.
🗺️ Adventure Effect (Roar of Time)
Using 5,000 Stardust and 5 Dialga Candy, you can activate the Roar of Time Adventure Effect to disrupt time. This pauses the timer for Incense, Daily Adventure Incense, Lucky Egg, and Star Piece for 6 minutes!
You can extend this timer in 6-minute increments up to 2 hours in one session. By tapping "Use" again, the Adventure Effect can last up to 24 hours!
This feature increases your chances of encountering the elusive Galarian Legendary Bird trio and their Shiny forms. At the same time, it lets you drop a Lucky Egg and Star Piece to maximize XP and Stardust gains ✨.
⚔️ Raids
Dialga Origin is a prized attacker against Dragon Raid Bosses due to its Steel/Dragon typing, which removes its weakness to Dragon-type attacks 😄.
Roar of Time is crucial for optimal performance, as Dragon Breath isn’t an ideal Quick Attack. Overall, it’s a useful addition to your team of counters but not among the best 🙂.

🔵 Great League
Too high a CP for the Great League. ❌
🟡 Ultra League
Dialga Origin feels clunky to use in the Ultra League, with a constraint on its high CP 😵💫.
🟣 Master League
Dialga had once been the Master League staple. Even though it's no longer THE Pokémon to beat, it's still a tremendous force to be reckoned with 💯.
Dialga Origin, to be honest, isn't a vast improvement over Dialga but is an upgrade nonetheless. Bulkier, with slightly lower ATK, both forms function similarly in shield scenarios. Why? 🤔
That's because Roar of Time and Draco Meteor are stat-wise clones in PvP, except that RoT doesn’t have the self-debuffing effects of DM 🐉.
When shields are down, Dialga Origin is marginally better because it has more freedom to use Roar of Time. However, hardly anything survives Draco Meteor, so once again, the performance isn't vastly different—only marginally so, as mentioned ✅.
At the end of the day, it's a monster and among the premier Master League threats. You'll certainly have fun using it! 😁
