⚔️ Raids
Jynx is an Ice and Psychic-type that performs okay as an Ice-type raid attacker but is completely unremarkable as a Psychic-type raid attacker.
As such, it is recommended to use Jynx primarily as an Ice-type raid attacker. Jynx’s preferred moveset in that role is Frost Breath and Avalanche.
As an Ice-type raid attacker, Jynx is strong against Flying, Ground, Grass, and Dragon-types.
PvP Analysis
Recommended moves
Jynx is a frail glass cannon Pokémon with a choice between two heavy damage-dealing Fast Attacks with long attack animations. Unfortunately, none of its Charged Attacks synergize well with its Fast Attacks.
Moreover, the combination of Psychic and Ice typing is not particularly good for PvP, as it leaves Jynx with six unique weaknesses.
Overall, Jynx is not a recommended Pokémon for PvP.

Pokémon GO catch rate formula can be expressed as follows:
CATCH_MULTIPLIERS = ball * curve * berry * throwType * (type1Medal + type2Medal / 2)CATCH_RATE = 1 - Math.pow(1 - baseCatchRate / (2 * cpm), CATCH_MULTIPLIERS)
There are different multipliers that come into play when calculating catch rate.
