    PvE AnalysisPvE Analysis

    Recommended moves

    ⚔️ Raids

Talonflame isn’t suited to the raid scene due to its lack of power compared to other fire and flying types.

    🛡️ Gyms

Talonflame isn’t suited to gym defense with a dual weakness to rock typing and mid-level max CP.

    PvP AnalysisPvP Analysis

    Recommended moves

Preferred Moveset - Incinerate, Fly & Brave Bird / Flame Charge

    🧸 Little League

Talonflame is super squishy at sub-500CP, but should be able to Incinerate through a few things while it’s on the battlefield.

    🔵 Great League

Talonflame is currently in the top selections of fire types in the Great League meta. Although it is quite slow and at times cumbersome to use, with a Single Incinerate energy lead and shields to hide behind, Talonflame can prove to be an absolute handful against the majority of the meta.

    🟡 Ultra League

Post its community day, Talonflame was one of the premier Ultra League picks. Although there’s been a meta creep of more water types into the open Ultra League meta, Talonflame still has a strong role as an anti-grass and fighting pick.

    🟣 Master League

Talonflame will resemble a kentucky fried bird in the face of the Master League meta.
