Shadow Corviknight is a Flying and Steel type Pokémon, and the final stage of the Rookidee line. Despite being more of a defense-oriented Pokémon, Shadow Corviknight can be a half-decent Flying-type raid attacker with Air Slash and Sky Attack. There is no point in using Corviknight as a Steel-type raid attacker, even with the shadow bonus. As its stat spread, along with a very limited Steel-type move pool leaves it quite unable to muster up the damage to be useful.

🔵 Great League

Corviknight is already one of the best in the Great League. It has fantastic stats, especially in the bulk department along with its great defensive typing, is really spammy thanks to its fast attack energy generation with Sand Attack, and has a good choice between charged attacks; you’d typically want the legacy move Air Cutter to spam and Payback for massive damage and coverage. Its one flaw is the lack of fast attack pressure though as Sand Attack does next to nothing damage wise.

As for the shadow variant, it’s a solid side-grade. It gets some new wins, notably Azumarill and Sableye. But it also loses against some Pokémon the regular variant does not struggle with, such as Feraligatr, Quagsire and Mimikyu. And that Mimikyu is quite a big loss.

🟡 Ultra League

Corviknight is even better in the Ultra League. It is one of the definitive best. It retains all of the greatness talked about in the Great League section, except now it’s even bulkier.

Once again the shadow variant is a valid sidegrade with some new wins and some new losses. Most notably it now has a chance to win against Skeledirge with a type disadvantage, and can also win against Dusknoir, Blastoise, and Swampert. As for losses, Feraligatr and Jellicent are definitely the ones you have to look out for.

🟣 Master League

Shadow Corviknight unfortunately does not perform well at all in the Master League which is dominated by Pokémon with extremely high stat totals.
