      PvE AnalysisPvE Analysis

      Recommended moves

Tyrantrum has always been a solid Rock-type attacker and with the Shadow boost, Shadow Tyrantrum is top-tier in that role. 🦖

This powerful Fossil Pokémon is a great addition to beat Bug, Fire, Flying, and Ice types. The additional Dragon typing grants Shadow Tyrantrum a triple resistance to Fire types! 👀

      ⚔️ Raids

After Mega Diancie, Shadow Rampardos, and Shadow Rhyperior, Shadow Tyrantrum is the next best Rock-type attacker in Pokémon GO. And as mentioned earlier, it's particularly potent against Fire-type Raid Bosses thanks to its triple resistance to them. Definitely a super useful Pokémon to have on your side! 🔥

      🛡️ Gyms

Any Rock-type Pokémon is typically not a good Gym defender due to its numerous weaknesses. Same’s the case with Shadow Tyrantrum whose bulk goes further down due to the Shadow effect. 🙁

💎 Shadow Tyrantrum’s best attackset for PvP is Rock Throw and Meteor Beam.

      PvP AnalysisPvP Analysis

      Recommended moves

      🔵 Great League

Aside from the fact that Shadow Tyrantrum feels awkward in a format with restrictions on its CP (resulting in lower bulk), Rock/Dragon has six weaknesses (Dragon, Fairy, Fighting, Ground, Ice, Steel). These are all common PvP types, leaving this dino gasping for air. 😮‍💨

      🟡 Ultra League

The situation’s worse in the Ultra League, where Shadow Tyrantrum’s weaknesses are even more common. The typical Ultra League meta is way too strong for Shadow Tyrantrum to matter. 😬

      🟣 Master League

There's no better way to put this but Shadow Tyrantrum faces extinction in the Master League. 😵

💎 Shadow Tyrantrum’s best attackset for PvP is Dragon Tail, Crunch and Stone Edge.
