The following chart shows Amaura's DPS and TDO for every fast and charge attack combination. This chart is useful for comparing the relative strength of Amaura's movesets. You can change the weather and the opposing Pokémon to see how it affects the rankings.

Legacy Elite Fast and Charge Attacks can only be obtained during special events, or by using an Elite Fast TM or an Elite Charge TM. Legacy moves are marked with an asterisk (*). The table above provides information on different moves Amaura has in Pokémon GO, along with their corresponding DPS (Damage per Second) and TDO (Total Damage Output).

      Recommended moves

Amaura has low stats and even an underwhelming moveset. As such, this is simply not a Pokémon built for ⚔️ Raids and 🛡️ Gyms.

      🧸 Little Cup

Ice and Rock offer solid offensive coverage to Amaura in the Little League, helping it defeat a majority of the meta. Some of its biggest wins include Skarmory, Deino, Swinub, Ducklett, Wigglytuff, Igglybuff, and Chansey. It could have done more but its typing also brings with it many weaknesses, including two glaring ones to Fighting and Steel. Overall, it is a strong pick that is definitely worth running in this format.

      🔵 Great League

Despite a larger scope of Fighting and Steel type threats, Amaura is still viable due to its fantastic offensive coverage. It has a major showing against Flying, Ground, and Fire types, with Water types to worry about. Again, it brings some variety to this format and actually managed to impress. Do note that Amaura requires heavy Candy XL investment to perform here.

Amaura is too weak to compete in the Ultra and Master League.
