Dragonite is the pioneering Pseudo Legendary and one of the most beloved Pokémon ever. It's also a powerhouse! 💪
Over the years, it has arguably been the most accessible Dragon type in Pokémon GO, giving trainers a reliable counter. It has lost its glory to Legendaries and fellow Pseudos, but can always find a place in your team. 🐲
⚔️ Raids
With 263 ATK and the Dragon Tail + Outrage/Draco Meteor combination, Dragonite is nothing to scoff at! When you need a bunch of Pokémon to take down a Dragon-type Raid Boss, Dragonite comes in clutch! 😎
🛡️ Gyms
A glaring double weakness to Ice-type attacks and being toothless against Fairy types makes it awkward. 🥲
That said, its 4000+ CP makes it lose motivation slower, so that's a positive. 👍

Superpower
Dragonite holds the distinction of being one of the few Pokémon viable in all three PvP Leagues. 👏👏👏
Its diverse moveset and well-balanced stats work splendidly together to establish good ol’ Dragonite as a classic PvP pick. 🔥
With Dragon Breath/Dragon Tail and Dragon Claw, it handles 16 out of the 18 types effectively. Superpower further allows it to overpower Steel types. 💪
Its main weakness lies against Fairy types, which it really struggles against. 😭
🔵 Great League
Dragonite is arguably the most impactful Dragon in the Great League, even putting Altaria to shame with how threatening this Pseudo Legendary is. 😈
Whether it's Quick move pressure, baiting shields, or dealing burst damage, Dragonite nails it! 👌
🟡 Ultra League
With the higher CP cap, Dragonite is even stronger in the Ultra League, leveraging its resistance to all starter types and boasting phenomenal offensive coverage with its moves. 👏
Even in losing matchups, Dnite manages to put in work. You can even surprise those pesky Fairies by running Steel Wing. 😉
🟣 Master League
Despite battling in a meta full of OP Legendaries, Dragonite carves a niche for itself with Dragon Claw, which pairs with Dragon Tail/Breath to rip apart several opponents. 🐲
It is also one of the few Dragons capable of KOing Steel types, though as expected, it struggles significantly against Fairy types. 🫤
Overall, it's commendable how the premier Dragon in Pokémon GO still holds its own despite the influx of new and powerful Pokémon. 🫡
If you own a Hundo/Shundo Dragonite, don't hesitate to max it out for both PvP and PvE. 💯
