Shadow Dratini PvE Analysis

Shadow Dratini is the first of a three-stage evolution, and hence, it's associated with low stats and zero viability for ⚔️ Raids and 🛡️ Gyms. For such an iconic evolution line, you should rather make it your buddy and collect Candy fast.

Shadow Dratini PvP Analysis

🧸 Little Cup

Shadow Dratini is one of the undisputed best Pokémon in the Little League, using its strong moves and balanced set of stats to its advantage, and beating much of the meta. Its victims include Wooper, Vulpix, Shadow Vulpix, Barboach, Seel, Skarmory, Chansey, Ducklett, and Swampert.

It particularly excels against all Starter types, which it resists, and are aplenty in this format.

On the flip side, it struggles against Deino, Wynaut, Bronzor, and even regular Dratini. In fact, the regular version is slightly better in performance, managing to often beat Deino, Altaria, Nidoqueen, and Scrafty. However, the Shadow gets the edge over Ducklett.

Either way, Shadow Dratini is extremely dominant in the Little Cup, and is always worth consideration when prepping your team.

Shadow Dratini is too weak for any other PvP League.
