Fly
⚔️ Raids – The Malevolent Pokémon, Galarian Moltres, is one of the top-ranked Dark type attackers with the optimal moveset of Sucker Punch and Payback. Its dual Flying typing also provides the benefit of only taking neutral damage from a Raid boss that may have a Fighting coverage move. As a Flying type attacker, it performs worse than even a base evolution like Scyther, or the common regional birds. It's worth noting that Galarian Moltres is also outclassed for both types by Yveltal, a much more regularly available Dark and Flying Legendary Pokémon.
🛡️ Gyms – As a Legendary Pokémon, Galarian Moltres is not able to be placed in gyms.

🔵 Great League – Like the other Galarian Birds, Galarian Moltres is one of the few Legendaries where it's possible to get a CP low enough to enter the Great League. And boy, does this bird perform! With Sucker Punch being as quick as it is to build up charged moves, Galarian Moltres keeps the pressure up for opponents to really consider their shield usage. The chance of buffing attack and defense with Ancient Power, only to then lower your own defense with Brave Bird could be a formidable combo as well.
🟡 Ultra League – Take everything said about the Great League, and then double it. Galarian Moltres is ranked even higher in Ultra League thanks to its natural bulk coming into play. Pair this bird up with a strong Water, Ground, or Poison type and you'll have a strong core team to build out from.
🟣 Master League – Okay, now triple down! This beast can perform in all PvP leagues where it's eligible, with the only difference in the Master League being to drop Brave Bird for Payback for a consistently strong Dark Charge Move to unleash on the many Psychic and Ghost types.
