The following chart shows Wyrdeer's DPS and TDO for every fast and charge attack combination. This chart is useful for comparing the relative strength of Wyrdeer's movesets. You can change the weather and the opposing Pokémon to see how it affects the rankings.

If you are unable to get Wyrdeer with its best moveset, we recommend to use Zen Headbutt/Psychic. You will lose around 1.8% DPS and TDO, which makes these moves a viable alternative to Wyrdeer's strongest moveset (Confusion/Psychic).

Legacy Elite Fast and Charge Attacks can only be obtained during special events, or by using an Elite Fast TM or an Elite Charge TM. Legacy moves are marked with an asterisk (*). The table above provides information on different moves Wyrdeer has in Pokémon GO, along with their corresponding DPS (Damage per Second) and TDO (Total Damage Output).

      PvE AnalysisPvE Analysis

Wyrdeer is a Normal/Psychic-type Pokémon that is locked to 3-Star Raids and has reasonably good stats. Although its moveset isn't bad as such, they just don't fit well into this Hisuian Pokémon’s profile.

So, it's not good, not terrible, and it's nice to have one with good stats in your collection with the hope that a moveset shakeup changes its fortunes in the meta 😌.

⚔️ Raids - Confusion and Psychic give it appreciable damage output, helping it deserve a slot when you're rejoining the lobby with your second set of counters.

While it has great HP, its Defense stat holds it back and limits true viability. In a nutshell, Wyrdeer need not be a priority, but you can sure add it to your squad 👍🏻.

🛡️ Gyms - It resists Ghost and Psychic types, and also counters Fighting types with STAB Psychic-type damage. In the off chance that someone mistakes Wyrdeer to be a pure Normal type and uses Fighting-type counters, they're in for a rude awakening.

      PvE AnalysisPvP Analysis

Wyrdeer is serviceable in the lower Leagues of PvP, but there's honestly nothing special about it that makes it worthy of your resources 🫤.

🔵 Great League - It picks up wins against a few contenders such as Azumarill, Dewgong, Dunsparce, and Toxapex. However, it loses to the mighty Clodsire. That's more or less all you can get out of this Pokémon 😬.

🟡 Ultra League - It's more respectable in the Ultra League, grabbing some useful wins such as Clefable, Shadow Feraligatr, Tapu Fini, and Trevenant. But, don't expect it to pull off any hard-fought victories.

🟣 Master League - It tries hard but ultimately falls hard in this format. Just not a place for this deer 🦌.

                Catch probability with multiple throws

In order to help Trainers understand their overall odds when catching Wyrdeer, we enable the functionality to showing the total chance to catch it depending on the number of available throws. We calculate this chance as if you repeated the same throw N-number of times.

To activate this functionality, change the number of Number of throws to a value greater than 1. The Number of throws option is available in the configuration options above the chart

                Catch rate formula

Pokémon GO catch rate formula can be expressed as follows:

                • CATCH_MULTIPLIERS = ball * curve * berry * throwType * (type1Medal + type2Medal / 2)
                • CATCH_RATE = 1 - Math.pow(1 - baseCatchRate / (2 * cpm), CATCH_MULTIPLIERS)

There are different multipliers that come into play when calculating catch rate.

Curved throws are more effective than regular throws, stronger types of Poké Ball have a higher catch rate, and using a Razz Berry or a Golden Razz Berry also improves your chances.
