    Shadow Fraxure PvE Analysis

    Recommended moves

    • Dragon Attacker:DragonDragon TailDragonDragon Claw

With an effective ATK of 254, Shadow Fraxure holds potential in Raid battles. However, Dragon Claw is a bad move for PvE and as such, Shadow Fraxure is held back for relevance in this meta. In Gyms, its DEF is very low and easily exploitable by a large number of Gym attackers.

    Shadow Fraxure PvP Analysis

    Recommended moves

    • Great League:DragonDragon TailWaterAqua TailDarkNight Slash
    • Ultra League:DragonDragon TailWaterAqua TailDarkNight Slash

    🔵 Great League

With stats inclined towards ATK and low bulk in general, Shadow Fraxure fails to make any sort of impact in the Great League.

While regular and Shadow Fraxure both perform poorly, the Shadow is actually a massive improvement over the former, beating threats like Shadow Sableye, Gourgeist Super, Grumpig, Shadow Feraligatr, Kingdra, and Fearow. You can run it for fun, but keep in mind that Shadow Fraxure’s win column is quite narrow, making it an underwhelming choice for serious GBL matches.

    🟡 Ultra League

An Ultra League Fraxure is an expensive Pokémon, operating at Level 50. Sadly, all that Candy XL investment isn't really worth it, as the frail Shadow Fraxure is decent at best in these battles. With Dragon Claw, it can muster a few wins such as Galarian Moltres, Shadow Ampharos, Feraligatr, Shadow Dusknoir, Swampert, and a few Fire types, but overall, it can't even tackle anywhere near half the meta.

    🟣 Master League

A max CP of only 2526 makes Shadow Fraxure inadequate for the Master League.
