The following chart shows Vespiquen's DPS and TDO for every fast and charge attack combination. This chart is useful for comparing the relative strength of Vespiquen's movesets. You can change the weather and the opposing Pokémon to see how it affects the rankings.

Legacy Elite Fast and Charge Attacks can only be obtained during special events, or by using an Elite Fast TM or an Elite Charge TM. Legacy moves are marked with an asterisk (*). The table above provides information on different moves Vespiquen has in Pokémon GO, along with their corresponding DPS (Damage per Second) and TDO (Total Damage Output).

    Recommended moves

Only a female Combee (the rarer find) can evolve into Vespiquen and unfortunately, any interest with Vespiquen ends here as it's poor in stats and damage output.

Don't use it in Raids or Gyms, just one for the collection. 🐝

    🔵 Great League

Though Vespiquen isn't much of a memorable Pokémon in PvP, it has a good outing in the Great League courtesy of its decent bulk and moveset. Aside from taking the fight to common Dark, Psychic, and Grass types in the meta, access to Power Gem gives it an edge over Flying and Ice types as well.

Beyond these undoubtedly impressive faceoffs, Bug/Flying suffers super-effective damage from many common threats, limiting its overall viability.

With a max CP well below 2500, Vespiquen doesn't cut it in the Ultra or Master League.

💎 The best PvP moves for Vespiquen are Poison Sting, Power Gem and X-Scissor.
