Regular Turtwig is mostly able to manage wins against Pokémon it's expected to beat: Water, Ground, and Rock types. Shadow Turtwig does all that the regular variant does, but it also beats Igglybuff and Wigglytuff! That said, you're better off using Bulbasaur in these battles.
