      PvE AnalysisPvE Analysis

Toxtricity! 🎸⚡The Amped Form has yellow accents, while the Low Key Form features blue. In the mainline series, Toxel’s evolution depended on its nature, and the two forms have some distinctive moves.

Their stats are the same, so aesthetics are the only differentiator in Pokémon GO. While they have a good moveset to rock, their stats are underwhelming.

While Toxtricity boasts decent offense, it struggles in PvE due to its low bulk. 🤕 As an Electric-type, it performs moderately well but falls short in the Poison-type department.

That said, Toxtricity fares better in the Dynamax and Gigantamax systems. 📈

⚔️ Raids - Whether Electric or Poison, Toxtricity doesn’t get the job done well. 😖

🛡️ Gyms - Even though Toxtricity has only two weaknesses (Ground and Psychic), its double weakness to Ground 🫣 means it melts even to Mud-Slap hits due to its low bulk. 😭

🔮 Dynamax Toxtricity - A solid Electric-type attacker in Max Battles, charging the Max Meter quickly and dealing heavy damage with Max Lightning. 🌩️

As a Poison-type attacker, it’s decent with Max Ooze ☣️. Overall, a great addition to the DMax system. 🆗

🔮🔮 Gigantamax Toxtricity - GMax Stun Shock is as deadly as it sounds, delivering high damage output ☠️. Paired with Spark, its quick energy gains make it a speedy killer, especially against Water and Flying Bosses. 🎸

Be cautious with Max Guard and Max Spirit, as Gigantamax Toxtricity suffers from low bulk. Power up at least one for future use. 👍

      PvE AnalysisPvP Analysis

Toxtricity possesses a unique Electric/Poison typing, which is a fancy combo on offense. 👀

While it’s quite bad defensively, it compensates (kinda?) with its surprisingly high number of resistances (8), including key ones like Fairy, Fighting, Flying, and Steel. Impressive!

It works, in a way, as long as matchups are favorable. Otherwise, it’s eliminated rather easily. 😵‍💫

🔵 Great League - This is Toxtricity’s best bet, leveraging its numerous resistances and coverage against core types like Water, Flying, Fairy, and Grass.

Poison Jab is a solid move, and paired with Power-Up Punch, it gains a unique niche to exploit. 🎛️

Wild Charge is a powerful no-shield move, but the severe Defense nerf it causes leaves the already fragile Toxtricity hanging by a thread. 😅

🟡 Ultra League - The same traits that make Toxtricity viable in the Great League carry over to the Ultra League, but it faces tougher competition here. 🤕

Rising threats like Mud-Slap users (e.g., Gastrodon and Shadow Golurk) make this meta challenging for Toxtricity. 😰 However, with favorable matchups and shield management, it can still perform decently. 👀

🟣 Master League - Toxtricity only shines in the Great and Ultra Leagues. The Master League is far beyond its reach. 🥵

Mega and Primal Raid BonusMega Pokémon boost the attack power of all other Pokémon when battling in Raid Battles by 10%. Attacks that share their type with the Mega Pokémon's type(s) receive a 30% boost. However, these bonuses do not stack if there are multiple Mega-Evolved Pokémon battling simultaneously; only the higher boost will be applied.

Mega and Primal Catch BonusWhile a Pokémon is Mega-Evolved, additional XP and Candy is granted when catching a Pokémon that shares a type with it, or for any raid boss caught. These do not stack with each other. Additionally, High and Max Level Mega-Evolved Pokémon grant an increased chance to obtain Candy XL when catching a Pokémon that shares a type with it.

Note on Primal Kyogre, Primal Groudon, and Mega Rayquaza
      • Primal Kyogre boosts Water-, Electric- and Bug-type attacks and Pokémon.
      • Primal Groudon boosts Fire-, Grass- and Ground-type attacks and Pokémon.

                Catch probability with multiple throws

In order to help Trainers understand their overall odds when catching Toxtricity, we enable the functionality to showing the total chance to catch it depending on the number of available throws. We calculate this chance as if you repeated the same throw N-number of times.

To activate this functionality, change the number of Number of throws to a value greater than 1. The Number of throws option is available in the configuration options above the chart

                Catch rate formula

Pokémon GO catch rate formula can be expressed as follows:

                • CATCH_MULTIPLIERS = ball * curve * berry * throwType * (type1Medal + type2Medal / 2)
                • CATCH_RATE = 1 - Math.pow(1 - baseCatchRate / (2 * cpm), CATCH_MULTIPLIERS)

There are different multipliers that come into play when calculating catch rate.

Curved throws are more effective than regular throws, stronger types of Poké Ball have a higher catch rate, and using a Razz Berry or a Golden Razz Berry also improves your chances.
