PvE Analysis
Recommended moves
- Grass Attacker:
Magical Leaf
Grass Knot - Poison Attacker:
Poison Jab
Sludge Bomb
So many Grass and Poison-types have broken into the meta since Roserade’s debut, but even then, Roserade continues to be a reliable PvE attacker in both its typings! 👏👏
Even if you’re using stronger options, it’s always worth adding Roserade to your entourage. Max it out to level 50, you won’t regret it! 🌹
⚔️ Raids
Raids are truly a rosy picture for Roserade, as this Pokémon can pull double duty as either a Grass or Poison-type attacker. If you’re low on TMs, however, Roserade is preferred as a Poison-type attacker. ☣️
🛡️ Gyms
While Roserade has a good Attack stat, its Defense and Stamina are a bit disappointing. It’s best to keep it out of Gyms. 😬

Leaf Storm
This rose is spicy! 🥵 Roserade is honestly a mixed bag in PvP.
On one hand, its Fire and Poison-type moves help it deal with other Grass Pokémon, and even take out Fairy and Steel types. 😮
That’s an impressive résumé, but its low bulk plays spoilsport, preventing it from becoming a PvP mainstay. Still, it’s overall a strong pick that you won’t regret using! 🙂
🔵 Great League
Despite its fragility, Roserade’s formidable moveset of Bullet Seed, Weather Ball, and Leaf Storm makes it a huge threat, capable of taking out some of the Great League’s best Pokémon! 🥳
Even when shields are down, it performs equally well. Beware of this rose’s thorns! 🌹
🟡 Ultra League
Roserade’s dominance takes a hit in the Ultra League, where stronger Grass and Poison-type Pokémon do better. Its inability to take damage is its Achilles heel. 🙁
🟣 Master League
Roserade makes quite a statement in the Master League, being able to beat most of this League’s top Water, Fairy, and Ground-type Pokémon! 😳
It’s a spice pick with niche applications but something more useful than you can imagine. Do try it out! 🌶️
