Shadow Palossand PvE Analysis

Recommended moves

⚔️ Raids

Palossand is a Ground and Ghost type Pokémon and the evolved form of Sandygast. While the shadow bonus is definitely an improvement, Palossand has very middle-of-the-road stats across the board, so you’re better off using other Pokémon for both type categories.

🛡️ Gyms

Palossand is a solid Gym defender, but you want the regular form not the shadow form, for added defense.

Shadow Palossand PvP Analysis

Recommended moves

🔵 Great League

Palossand is already pretty bad in the Great League due to its stats, and the Shadow variant is a direct downgrade. Do not use it.

🟡 Ultra League

In the Ultra League, Palossand is a worthy sidegrade to regular Palossand. It gets new wins against Virizion, Cresselia, and Regidrago. However, it also loses Empoleon, Jellicent, Tinkaton, and Snorlax on even shielding. Though you probably shouldn’t even build a Palossand, as neither form performs well against the Ultra League meta right now.

🟣 Master League

With a max CP of 2763, Palossand is too weak for the Master League.

The best PvP moves for Palossand are Astonish, Shadow Ball, and Earth Power.
