Paldean Tauros (Blaze Breed) PvE Analysis

Recommended moves

⚔️ Raids

The Blaze Breed of Paldean Tauros is fittingly a Fighting and Fire-type. It’s notable for having near-identical Attack and Defense stats, which unfortunately means it doesn’t hit as hard as other Pokémon that are fully focused on offense.

This is especially problematic for a Fire-type, since many Fire Pokémon in the raid meta are known for their very high damage output. As a result, Paldean Tauros (Blaze Breed) is neither a good Fighting-type nor Fire-type raid attacker.

Paldean Tauros (Blaze Breed) PvP Analysis

Recommended moves

Paldean Tauros’s matched Attack and Defense stats once again serve as a hindrance in PvP. It’s already too weak for the Master League, and in the Great League and Ultra League, its middle-of-the-road stats severely limit its meta viability.

To make matters worse, none of the three Paldean Tauros variants have reliable bait/spam moves, making them even harder to use effectively. The Blaze Breed might actually be the worst of the three, as it comes last in terms of wins across all PvP leagues.
