The following chart shows Salazzle's DPS and TDO for every fast and charge attack combination. This chart is useful for comparing the relative strength of Salazzle's movesets. You can change the weather and the opposing Pokémon to see how it affects the rankings.

Legacy Elite Fast and Charge Attacks can only be obtained during special events, or by using an Elite Fast TM or an Elite Charge TM. Legacy moves are marked with an asterisk (*). The table above provides information on different moves Salazzle has in Pokémon GO, along with their corresponding DPS (Damage per Second) and TDO (Total Damage Output).

    Salazzle in the meta

    Salazzle in the meta

    PvE AnalysisPvE Analysis

    Recommended moves

Salazzle has a viable ATK stat of 228, helping it dish out respectable damage both as a Fire and a Poison type. Unfortunately, the damage output in either case is too low compared to most of its peers. This leaves Salazzle as just a Pokédex collection, although a popular one due to its relative rarity. 🙂

    ⚔️ Raids

When it comes to Raids, Salazzle’s damage output also takes a backseat considering how fragile it is. It can take just a few hits, resulting in its Total Damage Output taking a nosedive. 📉

Moreover, many stronger Fire and Poison type options are easier to obtain and to power up than Salazzle.

    🛡️ Gyms

Ground type attacks annihilate Salazzle, let alone its other weaknesses and its overall low bulk.

💎 The best PvE moves for Salazzle are Incinerate and Fire Blast.

    PvP AnalysisPvP Analysis

    Recommended moves

    🔵 Great League

Salazzle's Fire and Poison type moves pose a threat to a decent section of the Great League meta, including the likes of Shadow Annihilape, Shadow Feraligatr, Shadow Typhlosion, Dusclops, Wigglytuff, and Tinkaton. Poison Fang is cheap and guarantees a DEF drop for the opponent, making it very handy.

It could have done more but its high ATK results in even lower bulk as per the format’s CP limitations. It's an interesting pick for sure that can surprise your opponent but don't expect wonders out of it.

    🟡 Ultra League

Salazzle gets more room to breathe in the Ultra League and it flexes its typing more out here. Wide coverage lets it take down Registeel, Virizion, Cresselia, Annihilape, Clefable, Gliscor, Galarian Moltres, and Corviknight. Incinerate’s high DMG and Poison Fang’s DEF debuffs make it quite useful.

It may not be spectacular but it can certainly throw opponents off track and get you some impressive wins. 👍

    🟣 Master League

Salazzle is not viable in the Master League.

💎 The best PvP moves for Salazzle are Incinerate, Poison Fang and Dragon Pulse.
