Shadow Heliolisk PvE Analysis

Recommended moves

⚔️ Raids

Shadow Heliolisk is an Electric and Normal-type Shadow Pokémon and the evolution of Helioptile. While Shadow Heliolisk isn’t an exceptional Electric-type raid attacker, it is still pretty solid with a pretty high attack stat, and can help bolster your team. As an Electric-type raid attacker, Shadow Heliolisk is strong against Flying and Water-type Pokémon and resists Flying, Steel, and Electric-type attacks. And as a Normal-type raid attacker, Shadow Heliolisk is strong against nothing as no Pokémon are weak to Normal-type attacks. However, the Normal-typing does make Heliolisk resist Ghost-type attacks, in exchange for being to Fighting.

Shadow Heliolisk PvP Analysis

Recommended moves

🔵 Great League

It wouldn’t be too inaccurate to say Heliolisk’s performance in PvP is largely meta dependant. Though in the Great League specifically, Heliolisk underperforms more frequently than not. It’s overall stat distribution leaves it being quite frail, and the fact that it often gets stuck with long animation times for its attacks makes it difficult to navigate around most encounters as well. As for that shadow bonus, it is a worthy side-grade that improves Heliolisk’s overall performance, though it does still end up with some fresh new losses due to becoming even less defensive with the shadow bonus.

🟡 Ultra League

Heliolisk reaches a higher stat product in the Ultra League and has quite a few high-profile Water-type targets it can win against. Unfortunately, this does not mean Heliolisk is a surefire success in the Ultra League either as here, Heliolisk might be even more dependent on the meta surrounding it. Not only that, Shadow Heliolisk actually underperforms compared to non-shadow in the Ultra League.

🟣 Master League

Heliolisk does not perform well in the Master League as it is dominated by legendaries and other Pokémon with very high stat totals.
