The following chart shows Nidoking's DPS and TDO for every fast and charge attack combination. This chart is useful for comparing the relative strength of Nidoking's movesets. You can change the weather and the opposing Pokémon to see how it affects the rankings.

Legacy Elite Fast and Charge Attacks can only be obtained during special events, or by using an Elite Fast TM or an Elite Charge TM. Legacy moves are marked with an asterisk (*). The table above provides information on different moves Nidoking has in Pokémon GO, along with their corresponding DPS (Damage per Second) and TDO (Total Damage Output).

      Nidoking in the meta

      PvE AnalysisPvE Analysis

      Recommended moves

Nidoking has a very average ATK, coupled with poor bulk.

      ⚔️ Raids

Both Poison and Ground types in Pokémon GO need high offensive prowess for the said Pokémon to make an impact. Nidoking suffers from not only low DPS, but also has a poor moveset, making it a terrible choice for Raids.

      🛡️ Gyms

Nidoking has poor defenses and weaknesses to some of the strongest attackers in Pokémon GO. Don't use it for Gym defense!

      PvP AnalysisPvP Analysis

      Recommended moves

Nidoking suffers from the same problem in all Leagues. Not only is it bad in the Great League and Ultra League due to ATK-inclined stats and poor bulk, it is completely surpassed by Nidoqueen, which happens to be one of the top Pokémon for PvP.

For the Master League, Nidoking’s ATK and bulk are too low to give it any viability against the strongest in Pokémon GO.
