With pitiful stats that don't crack the PvE meta by any means, Shadow Mareep shouldn't be allowed to graze anywhere near Raids or Gyms.

🧸 Little Cup

With the lightning quick Thunder Shock, and the spamminess and power of Body Slam and Discharge, Shadow Mareep is a solid addition to the Little League meta. It beats expected Pokémon like Ducklett, Seel, Skarmory, Vullaby, and even Shadow Vulpix, Walrein, Chansey, Wigglytuff, and Obstagoon. On the flip side, it loses to both premier Dragons of this format (Deino and Dratini), and bigshots like Wynaut, Bronzor, Igglybuff, Skorupi, Swinub, and Barboach.

So even though Shadow Mareep is neat, you still have to account for those major losses, all of which are the format's biggest threats.

Shadow Mareep is not viable for any other PvP League.

However, these bonuses do not stack if there are multiple Mega-Evolved Pokémon battling simultaneously; only the higher boost will be applied.

Mega and Primal Catch Bonus –While a Pokémon is Mega-Evolved, additional XP and Candy is granted when catching a Pokémon that shares a type with it, or for any raid boss caught. These do not stack with each other. Additionally, High and Max Level Mega-Evolved Pokémon grant an increased chance to obtain Candy XL when catching a Pokémon that shares a type with it.
