Sinistcha in the meta
PvE Analysis
Despite having a respectable max CP of 3343, Sinistcha’s ATK is low for a Ghost type and as such, it's not too viable for PvE. In the Grass-type meta, it's decent but still outclassed by numerous Pokémon, including non-Megas and non-Shadows. Overall, Sinistcha is not bad per se and makes for a fun addition to your Pokédex, even usable in low tier Raids and easy Gyms, but not meta relevant.
⚔️ Raids
Let's keep Megas and Shadows out of contention as they're considerably stronger than Sinistcha. Even then, regular Ghosts like Gengar, Chandelure, Dragapult, Origin Forme Giratina, Gholdengo, and Hisuian Zoroark beat Sinistcha in DPS while Kartana, Roserade, and most Frenzy Plant users surpass it in Grass-type DPS.
🛡️ Gyms
Sinistcha doesn't have a bulk to boast; it's only decent and at best, it can halt the usual Fighting-type Gym attackers.

🔵 Great League
With Sinistcha's stats leaning towards Attack, the Great League's CP restrictions limit its bulk and overall impact. It would have also appreciated a low energy Charged Attack, but on its debut, it's just bad for this format.
🟡 Ultra League
While Sinistcha has more room to breathe in the Ultra League, claiming impressive wins such as Cobalion, Virizion, Nidoqueen, Cresselia, and Tinkaton, it is overall very unreliable and poor at putting pressure on the opponent. Moreover, Trevenant (with the same Ghost and Grass typing) excels in this platform, leaving Sinistcha in the dark.
🟣 Master League
Sinistcha doesn't match up to the powerhouses that rule the Master League. It is not viable even remotely, so don't bring it to these battles.
