PvE Analysis
Recommended moves
- Fighting Attacker:
Counter
Superpower
Falinks is a fan-favorite Pokémon from the Galar region. While it has balanced stats, the figures aren't good enough for PvE relevance ☹️
⚔️ Raids - As a pure Fighting-type Pokémon, Falinks competes with several powerhouses, even when not considering Megas and Shadows. Terrakion, Lucario, Machamp, Conkeldurr… take your pick! 🥊
🛡️ Gyms - With measly bulk, Falinks goes down even to neutral damage 😭
🔮 Dynamax Falinks is available in 3-Star Max Battles. It costs 400 MP and gives 7500 EXP as a reward. These battles are extremely challenging, so you would ideally need a Dynamax Metagross with Zen Headbutt and Psychic as the moveset to take it down.

Megahorn
Before the Max Out GBL update, Falinks wasn't anywhere up in the ranks, but it at least had STAB Counter to flex. Sadly, that's no longer the case as Counter got nerfed hard, plummeting Falinks further down the line of relevancy. It can be fun to use, but don't expect it to pull off any wonders 🥲
🔵 Great League - It finds some use in the Great League, with Counter, Close Combat, and Megahorn forming a tough pair in some niche situations, especially against the Steel, Grass, and Psychic types frequenting this meta ✅
Beyond that, it can force shields as both Close Combat and Megahorn do quite a number when left unshielded. Overall, a decent pick, but just like PvE, you have plenty of other options 🪖
🟡 Ultra League - Falinks is more or less the same in the Ultra League but suffers more due to the inclusion of heavyweights like Giratina 💀
🟣 Master League - Falinks is based on a group of Spartans who battled mere mortals in the pages of history. Unfortunately, they stand no chance against Dragons 🐉
