    PvE AnalysisPvE Analysis

    Recommended moves

When Rolycoly evolves to Carkol, it gains the Fire typing, making this mid-stage evolution a Rock/Fire type. On the stats side, Carkol remains bad for PvE. It doesn't have a good ATK to make its damage output matter in Raids and the two double weaknesses to Water and Rock spells doom for Gym defense.

    PvP AnalysisPvP Analysis

    Recommended moves

    🔵 Great League

Carkol has a higher stat product than its evolution Coalossal in the Great League, sporting more bulk and nearly the same offensive strength. However, it doesn't have a good enough moveset with both Carkol and Coalossal losing Incinerate, and the latter ending up a little better.

As such, Carkol is rather underwhelming in this format, and you're better off using its evolution.

With a max CP of only 1710, Carkol isn't suitable for the Ultra and Master League.
