Gigantamax Coalossal is not included in the default released-Pokémon attacker rankings. This is not a rating of its tanking or healing ability.
This ranking measures damage per Max Attack. It does not estimate total battle time, fainting or the performance of a full team. A real boss’s Defense, resistances and weaknesses can change the damage and ranking.
Max Attack damage determines the ranking. When two movesets deal equal damage, we favor the Fast Attack that fills the Max Meter faster against the same neutral target.
The recommended movesets above do not include legacy moves.
An asterisk (*) marks a legacy move. A recommended moveset may rely on one, so check how to get it before investing in that Pokémon. It may require an event, an Elite TM or another special method. Some legacy moves cannot be learned with an Elite TM. Excluding legacy moves can change the recommended moveset and ranking.
For Dynamax Pokémon, the Fast Attack normally determines the Max Attack type; Hidden Power produces Max Strike. Gigantamax Pokémon have a fixed G-Max Attack. Crowned Pokémon and Eternatus also use fixed special attacks. Changing their Fast Attack does not change that attack’s type.
The default ranking uses Level 40 Pokémon with perfect 15/15/15 IVs and Level 3 Max Attacks against a neutral opponent, with no weather boost. Only Pokémon marked available in our data are included.
Not necessarily. A strong Max Battle team needs more than damage. You may also need Pokémon that withstand incoming attacks, use Max Guard to absorb hits or restore HP with Max Spirit.
As a Rock and Fire-type Pokémon, Gigantamax Coalossal is especially weak against Ground and Water-type moves, and weak against Fighting and Rock-type moves.
Gigantamax Coalossal’s maximum CP at Level 40 is 2352 CP and 2659 CP at Level 50.
Gigantamax Coalossal cannot be shiny in Pokémon GO.
