PvE Analysis
Recommended moves
- Grass Attacker:
Leafage
Leaf Blade
⚔️ Raids
Although Lurantis can reach Leaf Blades with great speed, its low max CP of 2711 and its relatively poor bulk means that there are stronger Grass types or your raid team.
🛡️ Gyms
Unfortunately Lurantis isn’t a strong gym defender, but it can definitely pack a punch on its way out.
PvP Analysis
Recommended moves
- Great League:
Leafage
Leaf Blade
Superpower - Ultra League:
Leafage
Leaf Blade
Superpower
Preferred Moveset - Fury Cutter/Leafage, Leaf Blade & Superpower
🧸 Little League
Lurantis isn’t typically eligible to participate in the Little Cup format, but it can play a solid role swiss army knife, carving it’s way through opponents through its exceptionally fast pacing.
🔵 Great League
Lurantis has a lot of potential, but its performance can leave something to be desired in the open meta. It can reach its Leaf Blades at ridiculous speed, but unfortunately Fury Cutter lacks the fast move pressure against the common meta fairy, fighting and ghost types. Lurantis’ mono-grass typing can also present its challenges defensively, and Serperior is currently able to play this role with more consistency. Lurantis is currently better suited to limited meta formats where some of these common threats are less present.
🟡 Ultra League
Similar to the Great League, Lurantis is full of potential but overall lacks consistency in its performance. There are many steel, poison and ghost types in the open meta which Lurantis struggles against, and although it can do very well against opposing Water types, it is best suited to limited formats where it can thrive.
