⚔️ Raids
Evolved to its pupae stage, Whirlipede has more vowels in its name than the number of seconds it would last against most raid bosses. It's still lacking a competitive attack stat, so other options should really be considered.
🛡️ Gyms
As defense is its highest stat, if you’re going to give Whirlipede a spin anywhere, chuck one into a gym. But don’t be surprised when you have to feed it berries constantly just to keep the timer rolling.

- Great League:
Poison Sting

🧸 Little League
Just like its pre-evolved stage, Whirlipede is so lowly ranked in Little League that only its Shadow counterpart is listed (at nearly rank 500). Needless to say, there’s no benefit to bringing this bug to battle.
🔵 Great League
Reaching a max CP of 1293 leaves Whirlipede just outside a viable range for Great League.
🟡 Ultra League
Trying to use Whirlipede here would be like spinning your wheels in mud.
🟣 Master League
If you’ve selected Whirlipede for your team here, roll again.
