PvE Analysis
Recommended moves
- Ghost Attacker:
Hex
Poltergeist
⚔️ Raids
Dusclops is not a good raid attacker. Its damage output is simply too low to compete with stronger Ghost-types. Its poor Attack stat leaves it ineffective in Raids and only passable on defense, so evolving it is usually the best way to get more value from the family.
🛡️ Gyms
Dusclops is a bit more interesting on defense because its high Defense lets it soak hits better than its low CP might suggest. In practice, Dusclops can stall attackers for a little while, but it usually does not pressure them enough to justify a Gym slot over stronger defensive options.
PvP Analysis
Recommended moves
- Great League:
Hex
Ice Punch
Shadow Punch
🔵 Great League
Dusclops, unlike PvE, is actually pretty strong in PvP, especially in 2v2 scenario. Its high DEF and spammy charged attacks let it stay in the game and tank hits while at the same time pressure your opponents with its own Charged Attacks. It is definitely a worthy PvP pick. Dusclops is not viable for Ultra League or Master League.
