PvE Analysis
Recommended moves
- Grass Attacker:
Bullet Seed
Power Whip - Steel Attacker:
Metal Claw
Flash Cannon
It’s very bulky but lacks the offensive power to create any form of impact 🥴.
⚔️ Raids – Leave it on the bench. Let it hang out on walls. But don’t bring it to Raids 🚧.
🛡️ Gyms – Its impressive bulk comes to play here and makes Ferrothorn a good Gym defender. That said, remember that it’s double weak to Fire-type attacks.
PvP Analysis
Recommended moves
- Great League:
Bullet Seed
Power Whip
Thunder - Ultra League:
Bullet Seed
Power Whip
Flash Cannon
Ferrothorn is a good PvP Pokémon thanks to its high bulk complementing its 10 resistances 🙂.
That’s not all, as it also has a good moveset to boot, making it a terrifying threat 😈.
🔵 Great League – Ferrothorn is a crazy strong Great League Pokémon that takes advantage of the high energy gains from Bullet Seed to punish opponents with Power Whip.
As a second Charged Move, you’re spoilt for choice with options like the hard-hitting Thunder, the unpredictable Flash Cannon, or the opponent DEF debuffing Acid Spray 🎨.
Overall, you’re going to have a great time using Ferrothorn in battle! 🙌
🟡 Ultra League – While still good in the Ultra League, it loses some shine due to the presence of more Fire and Fighting types in this format.
🟣 Master League – It looks like a Grass-type cosplay of Metagross, but unlike the Pseudo Legendary, Ferrothorn is plain bad in the Master League 🥲.
