Dudunsparce (Three-Segment Form) in the meta
PvE Analysis
Whether it's in terms of stats or its utility, Dudunsparce is barely an improvement over Dunsparce. The only novelty with this Pokémon lies in pursuing the super rare Three-Segment Form of Dudunsparce, making it a high-value collectible, not something meant for Raids and Gyms.
PvP Analysis
🔵 Great League
Dunsparce is a pretty meta Pokémon in the Great League but its evolution Dudunsparce, despite rocking the same moveset, is a strict downgrade. This is due to the fact that Dudunsparce gains some ATK, and as such, diminishes its Great League stat product compared to its pre-evolution.
With Dunsparce boasting a better stat product, it is able to beat things Dudunsparce can't, such as Carbink, Shadow Charizard, Shadow Altered Forme Giratina, Lapras, Feraligatr, Morpeko, Shadow Steelix, and Wigglytuff. On the other hand, Dudunsparce’s few unique wins include Azumarill, Dewgong, Jellicent, and Galarian Moltres.
As such, you don't want to evolve Dunsparce at all if you're looking to use it in the Great League. Dudunsparce is just a cool collectible.
🟡 Ultra League
Unlike Dunsparce, Dudunsparce is playable in the Ultra League, but sadly, it's not even remotely close to being viable. Its wins are too few, making it more of a chink in your team's armor.
🟣 Master League
Dudunsparce is too weak for the Master League.
💎 The best PvP moves for Dudunsparce are Rollout, Drill Run and Rock Slide.
