PvE Analysis
With an ATK stat of 262, Gigantamax Inteleon has the highest attack of not just all GMax Water types but also all GMax Pokémon in general. This makes it the best Gigantamax Pokémon to do super-effective damage against Fire, Rock, and Ground Max Pokémon, while it can also deal high neutral damage in other cases, except against Dragon, Grass, and Water Pokémon.
As an added benefit, GMax Inteleon also has a 0.5s Fast Move in Water Gun which helps in charging its powerful move, GMax Hydrosnipe, in the quickest time possible.
GMax Hydrosnipe does 350/400/450 DMG for level 1/2/3, but the damage at level 3 can be boosted to level 4 and 550 DMG with the Dynamax Cannon Adventure Effect of Eternatus.
It should be noted that GMax Inteleon is also very glassy, requiring tanky support from the likes of Blissey or Blastoise. When the Max Boss is preparing to attack, switch out Inteleon for a tank, and bring it back once the attack is done or when you are ready for Gigantamax.
💧 GMax Inteleon & other Water types in Max Battles
Urshifu Rapid Strike Style (254 ATK) is close to Inteleon thanks to the former having better bulk but when it comes to pure Water-type damage in Max Battles, there is no competing with GMax Inteleon.
The damage from GMax Inteleon overtakes GMax Urshifu Rapid Strike Style by around 3%, and easily outclasses all other Water Pokémon. In fact, even a DMax Inteleon does more damage than a GMax Blastoise.
🔒 Is GMax Inteleon future-proof?
Yes, GMax Inteleon will reign supreme as the #1 Water-type damage dealer in Max Battles. As a bonus to Raids, the eventual addition of Hydro Cannon to Inteleon will make it a top-tier Water Pokémon in Raids, surpassing even Kyogre. So, don't hesitate maxing out your GMax Inteleon to level 50 and using an Elite Charged TM to add Hydro Cannon, making it do double duty in Max Battles and Raids.
Either way, remember that Inteleon is flimsy and requires tanky Pokémon as teammates.
