      Gigantamax Rillaboom is the leader in Max Grass-type damage, as this Pokémon is not only the strongest damage dealer but also the tankiest of the lot.

      Its 0.5s Fast Move Scratch helps it function as a very efficient tank, though it's nowhere as bulky as DMax Blissey. Still, this is the Pokémon you need against Electric, Grass, Ground, and Water Max Bosses. It also helps GMax Rillaboom charge up its devastating GMax Drum Solo.

      GMax Drum Solo does 350/400/450 DMG for level 1/2/3, but the damage at level 3 can be boosted to level 4 and 550 DMG with the Dynamax Cannon Adventure Effect of Eternatus.

      It's a great Pokémon to lead with during Max Battles, being an excellent attacker and a decent tank.

      🍃 GMax Rillaboom & other Grass types in Max Battles

      GMax Rillaboom inflicts the highest Grass-type damage and is also the tankiest. Compared to GMax Venusaur, it does around 16% more damage and is around 5% tankier.

      The GMax forms of Flapple & Appletun look the same, but GMax Flapple will become the second-best Grass-type Max attacker (extremely glassy though), edging past GMax Venusaur. GMax Appletun will trail behind all.

      🔒 Is GMax Rillaboom future-proof?

      Absolutely, there's no competition. As an attacker, it is the best, dealing the most damage. It is also tanky, making it arguably the most effective among the Galarian starters.

      With Frenzy Plant added to its movepool, Rillaboom can function as a deadly Grass-type attacker in Raids as well. So, investing in a Rillaboom is a great decision.
