PvE Analysis
Recommended moves
- Dragon Attacker:
Ice Fang
Glaive Rush * - Ice Attacker:
Ice Fang
Avalanche
The Paldea region’s Pseudo Legendary is the ideal representation of Godzilla, and yes, it’s pretty good in Pokémon GO! 🤩
As an Ice type, Baxcalibur is one of the best in the meta, freezing the opposition with Ice Fang and Avalanche. It’s a premium Ice-type attacker and will remain so—don’t hesitate to max it out! 🥶
As a Dragon type, it’s severely outclassed by several Pokémon. While it has Outrage, it really needs Dragon Tail to be more useful. Speaking of moves, Baxcalibur has a signature move called Glaive Rush, so it stands a chance to get stronger in the future. 🫡
⚔️ Raids
One of the best Ice types in Pokémon GO! However, when using Baxcalibur against Dragon-type Raid Bosses, remember that this Pseudo Legendary takes super-effective damage in return. 🐲
🛡️ Gyms
A great flex at Gyms, but it gets beaten without much effort due to its five weaknesses. 🫤

Baxcalibur has a superb moveset and appreciable stats. However, there are far better options for your PvP team. It's one of those Pokémon that got hit with the 9% nerf hammer on release, so while it's not bad by any means, it's not great either! 🫠
🔵 Great League
Use Arctibax instead. It even has the same moveset as Baxcalibur. 🙂
🟡 Ultra League
Its weaknesses: Dragon, Fairy, Fighting, Rock, and Steel. Except Rock, the rest are all common sights in the Ultra League. Baxcalibur works to an extent but gets stopped in its tracks when facing these weaknesses. Its relevance depends on finding the right matchups. 🧊
🟣 Master League
Baxcalibur is impressive in the Master League, destroying opponents with its snappy moveset. 🐲❄️ Dragon and Ice attacks find many victims in this meta, so you're bound to find success with Baxcalibur. ✅
The buffed Ice Fang from the Dual Destiny GBL Season update is Baxcalibur’s go-to Fast move and gives it numerous wins in a meta filled with targets weak to Ice-type attacks! 🌨️ Seriously, Ice Fang Baxcalibur is a great improvement! 📈
Keep in mind that Baxcalibur is kind of useless against Steel Pokémon, so be sure to switch it out when needed. 👀 Do your best to deal with its weaknesses before unleashing this frigid Pseudo Legendary. 💥🐲❄️
