      Recommended moves

Bastiodon may be a defensive behemoth but its ATK stat is terrible, not even reaching 100. 😬 So forget about using it in Raids!

While it theoretically looks good for Gym defense, Bastiodon’s Rock/Steel typing makes it double weak to Fighting and Ground type attacks. So, an attacking Machamp or Lucario is going to finish it off effortlessly. As such, this tank of a Pokémon isn't viable in any form of PvE battle.

      🔵 Great League

Bastiodon behaves like two opposite ends of the spectrum in the Great League. On one hand, its gargantuan DEF makes it a legitimate wall, sponging hits like they're nothing. Backed with the hard-hitting Smack Down, it can plough down some of the strongest opponents, including Azumarill, Shadow Drapion, Lapras, Dusclops, Serperior, Guzzlord, and Galarian Weezing. 😎

On the other hand, its double weakness to Fighting and Ground, as well as single weakness to Water… all prominent PvP types make Bastiodon fumble against these matchups. 🥲

Overall, it's a scary Pokémon to face and a completely worthy investment for the Great League. 🙌

Bastiodon’s stats are too low for the Ultra and Master League. Use it only in the Great League.

💎 Bastiodon's best attacks for PvP are Smack Down, Stone Edge and Flamethrower.
