🔵 Great League
Shadow Typhlosion is a solid Pokémon for the Great League. Incinerate has the longest fast attack animation in the game, but in exchange, it provides excellent damage and energy generation. With this, Shadow Typhlosion can reach Thunder Punch in two Incinerates (10 turns) and Blast Burn in three Incinerates (15 turns).
Shadow Typhlosion is a glass cannon that can devastate with Blast Burn or go toe-to-toe with Flying types, and surprisingly, even Water types thanks to Thunder Punch. With a shield advantage, Shadow Typhlosion is fantastic.
🟡 Ultra League
Pretty much everything said about Shadow Typhlosion in the Great League applies to the Ultra League as well. However, Shadow Typhlosion performs even better here, as it has more targets and its stats are better suited for this league. That said, in the Ultra League, regular Typhlosion performs slightly better due to its added bulk.
🟣 Master League
Unfortunately, Shadow Typhlosion does not perform particularly well in the high base stat, legendary-dominated Master League meta.
