Being a Bug-type attacker is a tough job in Pokémon GO, with a few stalwarts like Volcarona, Scizor, and Vikavolt having the ability to make an impact outside Megas and Shadows.

As a Dark-type, it just doesn't compete with its stronger peers.

Lokix looks cool, but unfortunately, its stats aren't good enough to occupy a place among viable Bug or Dark-types. A Dex filler in PvE is all it is. 😐

Lokix is not the worst Bug-type, as it's still better than most of its peers. However, as stated earlier, there are far better options in the meta. 🙂

Its bulk is somewhat problematic, so it's best to use it when shields are up and get one or two Trailblaze off. This way, a boosted Sucker Punch would deal great damage to the next opponent, even if it's an unfavorable matchup. 😎

🟡 Ultra League

With the Ultra League cap suiting Lokix’s stats better, it performs better in this format. Using the same sweeping tactics, Lokix eliminates Giratina Altered, Shadow Golurk, Registeel, Annihilape, Venusaur, Ampharos, Shadow Feraligatr, and more! 😲

Keep in mind that it still needs a shield or two to perform at its best, so be sure to farm energy and fire off Charged Moves when shields are down. 👍
