Bellibolt in the meta
PvE Analysis
Recommended moves
- Electric Attacker:
Thunder Shock
Zap Cannon
Bellibolt’s stats are inclined towards bulk with its ATK being very poor. As such, it does not get a place for itself in the Raid meta.
⚔️ Raids
As mentioned, a low ATK translates to low damage output, making it completely unsuitable for this meta. In fact, its offenses are underwhelming to the extent that Bellibolt is a bad fit even for tier 3 Raids.
🛡️ Gyms
An impressive HP stat goes downhill due to a poor DEF stat. Still, it is decently bulky and its HP won't decay as quickly as many other Pokémon, making Bellibolt efficient in terms of Berry feeding.

🔵 Great League
With good bulk and a spammy moveset to back it up, Bellibolt is quite cracked in the Great League, taking down all the meta’s premier Water and Flying types, while also steamrolling through Bastiodon, Galarian Corsola, Wigglytuff, Doublade, and Annihilape. Bellibolt’s claim to fame is due to Parabolic Charge, and the increasing bulk on every usage can wall entire teams. However, do note that Bellibolt struggles against Ground types that it simply can't touch and Dedenne with its Fairy subtyping is often better at this role.
🟡 Ultra League
Bellibolt is effective in the Ultra League as well, flexing the same plus points as the Great League, but the increasing usage of Ground types play kind of malign its success. Moreover, it has a difficult time against many of the Ghosts and Dragons.
Still, its bulk is a major perk for this format and taking this Pokémon down is a tremendous challenge for most opponents.
🟣 Master League
Bellibolt isn't strong enough for the Master League.
