PvE Analysis
Recommended moves
- Fairy Attacker:
Charm
Play Rough
With an ATK far below the 200 mark, Dachsbun is a poor PvE pick in a meta dominated by Pokémon like Xerneas and Mega Gardevoir. 📉
⚔️ Raids
Dachsbun is not worth running, even against 3-Star Raid Bosses, let alone against Legendaries and Mega Evolutions. Even if you are out of the best options, we would suggest using Gardevoir, Togekiss, or Sylveon instead.
🛡️ Gyms
Dachsbun has a reasonable DEF and can hang on a bit against the commonly used Fighting and Dragon-type Gym attackers.

🧸 Little Cup
Just like its pre-evolution Fidough, the combination of Charm and Psychic Fangs makes Dachsbun a hard-hitting attacker, capable of overpowering opponents who typically have low bulk.
However, Fidough is bulkier, making it the better choice for the Little Cup. It’s recommended to stick with Fidough for this format.
🔵 Great League
Dachsbun establishes itself as a powerful Great League Pokémon, boasting the heavy-damage Charm and handy Charged Moves like Psychic Fangs and Body Slam. It’s best to keep Charm + Psychic Fangs as your default strategy, as this combo can even bring down the dreaded Skarmory to low HP. ‼️
Aside from an excellent moveset, its impressive DEF and HP make it the bulkiest Charmer in the Great League, giving it a niche above Wigglytuff, the go-to Charmer for this format (and Dachsbun beats Wigglytuff!).
🟡 Ultra League
Dachsbun is built for the Great League.
