PvE Analysis
Recommended moves
⚔️ Raids – While Dubwool is obviously better than its pre-evolution, it still leaves much to be desired in terms of PvE. For starters, Normal types are just not built for PvE, as no types are weak to Normal-type attacks. But even if that wasn't the case, with a max CP of 2478 and a max stat total of a bit over 4000, Dubwool just isn’t as strong as the many other options you can use for raids.
🔮 Dynamax – Dubwool’s previous form, Wooloo, has a vital niche as the first Dynamax Pokémon available to you. However, whether or not having this evolved form in your team is questionable. This is because Wooloo itself seems to be strong enough to take down some 1-star Dynamax Raids. A lot of these are Pokémon that will serve you a lot better when evolved.

🔵 Great League – Dubwool has a history of doing well in Limited Great League metas, but not really in the main meta. What makes Dubwool decent but not amazing is its decent bulk and a small but varied movepool. The Fighting-type fast attack Double Kick gives Dubwool an advantage over other Normal-types. Additionally, Dubwool has a choice between Wild Charge and Payback for heavy damage-dealing coverage.
🟡 Ultra League – Dubwool does have decent stats for the Ultra League, with substantial bulk to boost. However, it is by no means a top performer, and building up a Dubwool for the Ultra League is very expensive. So overall, not really a worthwhile Pokémon to consider for the Ultra League.
🟣 Master League – Dubwool’s max CP is 2478 with a total stat product of around 4000. It is not close to being strong enough for the Master League.
